September Pyramid Ceremony

Sunday the 22nd marked the Autumn Equinox, and the Pronaos celebrated with the annual Memorial Ritual, outdoors, under the heritage Atlas Cedar tree. Seated in a semicircle under the graceful boughs of the Cedar, (its trunk is at least 12 feet around if you tried to encircle it), our members and friends heard the annual retelling of the traditional origins of the Rosicrucian Order, and honored the hard work of our founding women and men.  Then we each laid chosen stones on the ground, building a pyramid that very soon started to amplify the vibratory energy already present under the ancient Cedar.  It was composed of grounding river stone, red jasper, pink rose quartz, blue calcite, and other stones found near the Frog Pond Grange.  When it was time to disassemble the pyramid, I really could feel the warmth and energy still buzzing in the rocks I had brought.  In the corners of the paper we laid down are two of the stately Atlas Cedar cones.

We went inside, had food, discussion, and snacks, and started plans for (at least) two of our many events next year.  Please participate in planning these events with us by emailing me with your ideas, skills and interest(s) at oregon@amorc.rosicrucian.org.

First event will be a weekend sound healing retreat at the beach.  Place, date and schedule are all to be determined.  Second event(s) will consist of (probably) train trip(s) to San Jose to join with other Fraters and Sorors at Grand Lodge Mystical weekends.  In a Mystical Weekend, Grand Lodge offers Degree Initiations, and this would allow us to either receive or witness the initiations of each other.
