May 12th at Parkrose 1pm – Open meeting

Event:  Learn about Kirtan Chanting and Bhakti Yoga:  A sacred sound workshop!

Led by Kavita Kat Macmillan, local teacher of Kirtan chanting, she will cover the history and basics of Bhakti music and sacred sound.  She will lead vocal exercises  and songs with a drone instrument (the Tanpura) and/or a harmonium.  We will have a lot of fun and participants will gain much more knowledge about this path.

No charge, but you may donate what you feel called to give; AMRA (a Rosicrucian term) means as you receive, so shall you give.

1:00 PM Brief introduction to the Rosicrucian Order

1:30-3:15 PM Kirtan Chanting workshop

3:15-4:00 PM Food and fellowship.  

The Parkrose Masonic lodge is handicapped accessible and can easily be reached by bus or car.
