Ritual Reminder: Convocation and Open Class on Visualization, Portland, 2 pm, 4/28/19

IMG_4255

This is a mirror event of the one occurring in Wilsonville on 4/14/19. The first part of the event will be the member-only ritual with a discourse on Imagination and Creativity by H.S. Lewis (differs than the Wilsonville discourse). A public class on visualization will follow convocation. We will go over a simple step by step method for manifesting the things we want in life. We’ll also talk about discerning our desired and if our wants are in alignment with the Cosmic.

This is an excellent way for inquirers to learn essential Rosicrucian teachings. If you have someone interested in the great mysteries, please bring them along. If you are a new member and have not yet attended convocation, this is an excellent introductory event to come and experience the spirit of the egregore [the collective spiritual vibrancy of the community of initiates past and present].

2:00 pm Convocation and Discourse- members only
3:00 pm Visualization Class – open to the public, invite a friend
4:00 pm Social hour and potluck- open to the public, bring food and a friend

Please arrive 15 minutes before convocation and observe reverent silence to prepare yourself in the final five minutes before you are called into the temple. Dress appropriately and bring your membership credentials and apron. If you do not have an AMORC apron one can be loaned to you. If you are a member in good standing and do not have your credentials, another member can vouch for you, for one time.

  1. Convocation at Tennessee Tech University is a formal induction ceremony of the freshmen class each Fall semester into the academic community of the University. Just as the graduation commencement serves as a ritual marking the completion of study; Convocation is a ritual to signal the beginning of a college career. The University President, Provost (chief academic officer), senior administrators, and faculty preside over this ceremony, which prep e ares students for life at Tech. Parents, are you unable to attend the ceremony? Check back on August 23 at 3PM Central and click on the image below to view the Convocation ceremony live online.
