We’ll have a basic orientation to the operation, rituals and symbols of the pronaos (your local AMORC group). We will also go over the basic teachings in the First Neophyte Degree. This is very important, as the entire course of study is outlined in basic form, throughout the Neophyte degrees.  THIS IS A GREAT EVENT FOR NEW MEMBERS and members who need a REFRESHER. Then we will conduct pronaos initiations for those who have requested it. Anyone requesting a Pronaos Initiation must be in good standing with the Rosicrucian Order, have attended at least 3 convocations and intend to be in regular attendance. Instructions for the Pronaos Initiation require an hour for contemplation between the Orientation Discourse and the Pronaos Initiation. We will offer a chance to review the Neophyte degree fundamental during that hour, and then re-assemble for the Convocation.

Please arrive 15 minutes early and seat yourself in the library. Observe reverent silence to prepare yourself in the final five minutes before you are called into the “temple.” Dress appropriately and bring your membership credential and apron. If you do not have an AMORC apron one can be loaned to you. If you are a member in good standing and do not have your credentials, another member can vouch for you, for one time.
