Enneadic Star Pronaos Meetings and 100-Year Celebration

Dear Fraters and Sorors,

This note is to update you about in-person meetings at Enneadic Star Pronaos for the remainder of 2023.

The response from our recent poll was quite clear: members want to take the month of August off. (We’ll still have our Zoom meetings for Magical Egypt AND other topics. Plus, we will have special online meetings with guest star and tutor of Tarot, Dr. Elma Tulloch-Reid, for example.)

Also, some members prefer certain meeting locations. So the in-person events (shown below), are organized by location to make your scheduling easier.

Meetings at Frogpond Grange (27350 Stafford Rd; Wilsonville)

Sun Sept 10: Pronaos Initiation (this is different from a Degree Initiation). If you have NOT been initiated as a member of our Pronaos and if you have attended THREE Pronaos meetings in the last 12 months, please contact the Master at oregon@amorc.rosicrucian.org so we can prepare for your initiation. If there are no initiates, the discourse will be The Power of Speech, a very strong and subtle talk on vowel sounds and creation.

Sat Oct 21: PART ONE OF THE CENTURY CELEBRATION! (Part Two is at Parkrose in Portland) Enneadic Star Pronaos is the latest of many incarnations of Rosicrucian groups in the Portland area, records confirm this back to 1923. In honor of this, we’re planning a two-day event with optional tours, great presentations, great eats, guest dignitaries, excellent speakers and more! Stay tuned for more announcements as we get closer.

  Greetings, Respected members of AMORC!

You are cordially invited to attend the next meeting of Enneadic Star Pronaos on Sunday, July 9, 2023 at 1:15 PM Pacific Time. The meeting will take place at the Parkrose Lodge location (4812 NE 102nd Ave; Portland, OR 97220).

Our meeting will be a Pronaos Convocation with the experiment on Vibroturgy! Why, what is vibroturgy? It is the skill we teach of holding something that belongs to someone else and interpreting the impressions you get from the thing. (By the way, you should have been at the last convocation, wow! the discourse on Electricity and Magnetism was amazing! If you have any amber, bring it to this next convocation and we’ll do a couple of electrical experiments with amber during the social hour!).

Please bring your membership credentials and your apron (if you have one). Hope to see you there!

“Electricity is the passion of space; magnetism, that of matter”. Did you know that the word “electricity” comes from the Greek word “elektron” which means “yellow amber”? Which stone did the Greeks call the loving stone, and why? Do you know what happens when you rub yellow amber? Wear your amber to this Convocation and learn a few fascinating things about the passions of space and matter! Does anyone still have the Rosicrucian magnetism kit, and if so, would you bring it and show us some of the experiments? Does anyone have their Cosmic Keyboard? Could you bring that to share with us?

Enneadic Star Presents: Magical Egypt Season 2, Episode 2 “Art is the Bridge”

Greetings, Respected Members of AMORC!

Enneadic Star Pronaos invites you to join us for this online AMORC members-only event. Please join us for a zoom presentation of Magical Egypt, Season 2, Episode 2, “Art Is The Bridge”, at 2:00 Pacific Time on Saturday July 8th.

One question that will be answered in this second season of presentations is: What takes place in the body in scientific terms when a person reaches enlightenment? This episode gives valuable background on how the artists of thousands and thousands of years ago used their art to reveal and conceal truths about the physical processes of thought and enlightenment. Another concept in this episode is that art has migrated from its original purposes as allegory and story to focus on the artist itself and the artist’s technique. The ancient art may have much more to show and tell than modern art, yet modern artists still have great insights. Pre-register for this show at the Rosicrucian Community events page.

Greetings, Respected members of AMORC! You are cordially invited to attend the next in-person meeting of Enneadic Star Pronaos on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at 1:15 PM Pacific Time, at our usual Wilsonville meeting location (Frog Pond Grange building; 27350 Stafford Rd.; Wilsonville, OR 97070).

(Please note, we are NOT meeting at Maryhill Park in Washington this coming weekend! Our sincere apologies, that had been our original plan, since changed many times over.)

We WILL be meeting in Wilsonville, at our usual location, and there we will perform an experiment, the aim of which is to use visualization to obtain the realization of a desire that we hold particularly near and dear to our hearts. Before we begin, we must understand and accept five fundamental points that need to be respected if our mental creation is to conform to the laws governing all manifestations of this sort.

Enneadic Star Pronaos invites you to join us for this online AMORC members-only event.

Please join us on Saturday June 10, 2023, 2 pm PST, for a zoom presentation of Magical Egypt, Season 2, Episode 1, “Art is the Prophet”! This series goes into scholarly depth about the magic, wisdom and science of ancient Egypt.

This presentation is the start of the second series of  Magical Egypt. The creators of this series are very pleased to show how art and artists, music, and rituals can change the world. They tie ancient art and artists and those messages to the ones contemporary artists are making. Authors are some of the more radical of the world changers.

An Introduction to the Rosicrucian Order, AMORC

Sunday, May 7, from 4:30-6:30pm, at the Parkrose Masonic Lodge, 4812 NE 102nd Avenue, Portland, OR 97220

Want to impress your friends with some of the cool esoteric things you study and some of the Rosicrucian skills you (hopefully) use in your daily lives?   Invite them to this OPEN meeting: An Introduction to the Rosicrucian Order, AMORC!  

This presentation will answer many questions and provoke more, even in long time members. . .

  • Do you know how many languages AMORC uses to present its teachings?  
  • Can you interpret the subtle symbolism of the Rosy Cross, or the more intricate symbolism of the Hermetic Rose Cross?  
  • Do you know one important technique for improving and even rejuvenating your energy and body?

This presentation will provide several answers. Join us for this hour-long presentation, and stay for the pizza and snacks afterwards!  No fee, but AMRA donations are welcome!
