Memorial Ceremony Saturday Sept. 23
Greetings, Members and Friends of AMORC!
You are invited to participate in the special Rosicrucian Memorial (Pyramid) Ceremony on Saturday, Sept 23, 2023 at 1:15 pm PDT with Enneadic Star Pronaos. The ceremony will be held at Senn’s Dairy City Park (11206 NE Prescott St) in Portland. After the ceremony, we will convene at the nearby Parkrose Lodge building for light snacks and a demonstration of crystal healing by Soror Courtney Sappington.
On this particular day, the autumnal equinox, it is customary to construct a symbolic pyramid in honor of all the women and men who have perpetuated the Rosicrucian tradition and philosophy since ancient times. Members and friends of AMORC are welcome to attend this inspiring ceremony. Please bring a rock to use as we construct our symbolic pyramid.
Note: Please congregate at the NW corner of the park for the ceremony. The Parkrose Lodge building is about a mile away from the park.

  Enneadic Star Pronaos Portland, OR Online Meetings Announcement Greetings, Respected members of AMORC! After the International Convention in Aug 2023, the assembled Grand Masters and Supreme Grand Lodge officers met in conference. From that conference came many changes. There will be some exciting announcements later this year, including more opportunities for non-member friends of AMORC to attend some in-person Affiliated Body meetings. Guidelines for our online (Zoom) meetings have also changed. Going forward, we will draw our meeting content exclusively from AMORC materials. This includes an abundance of videos, podcasts, and articles covering many topics that are interesting to us as Seekers. It also means that we will not present any more episodes of the Magical Egypt series in our online meetings. Look for details soon about our next online meeting. The topic will be “The Trinity of Lights”, which is an in-depth look at the Convocation candle-lighting ritual. Having seen this fine presentation, I’m sure you’ll get useful insights from it! Enneadic Star Pronaos Meetings and 100-Year Celebration
| Dear Fraters and Sorors, This note is to update you about in-person meetings at Enneadic Star Pronaos for the remainder of 2023. The response from our recent poll was quite clear: members want to take the month of August off. (We’ll still have our Zoom meetings for Magical Egypt AND other topics. Plus, we will have special online meetings with guest star and tutor of Tarot, Dr. Elma Tulloch-Reid, for example.) Also, some members prefer certain meeting locations. So the in-person events (shown below), are organized by location to make your scheduling easier. Please SAVE THE DATES! for our Century Celebration Oct 21-22! Meetings at Frogpond Grange (27350 Stafford Rd; Wilsonville) Sun Sept 10: Pronaos Initiation (this is different from a Degree Initiation). If you have NOT been initiated as a member of our Pronaos and if you have attended THREE Pronaos meetings in the last 12 months, please contact the Master at oregon@amorc.rosicrucian.org so we can prepare for your initiation. If there are no initiates, the discourse will be The Power of Speech, a very strong and subtle talk on vowel sounds and creation. Sat Oct 21: PART ONE OF THE CENTURY CELEBRATION! The meeting will take place at the Parkrose Lodge location (4812 NE 102nd Ave; Portland, OR 97220). Our meeting will be a Pronaos Convocation with the experiment on Vibroturgy! Why, what is vibroturgy? It is the skill we teach of holding something that belongs to someone else and interpreting the impressions you get from the thing. (By the way, you should have been at the last convocation, wow! the discourse on Electricity and Magnetism was amazing! If you have any amber, bring it to this next convocation and we’ll do a couple of electrical experiments with amber during the social hour!). Near Death Experiences (NDEs)
There are many youtube videos of individual’s Near Death Experiences. They are fascinating to hear and learn from. Recently, in 2019, a film documentary came out with interviews with 5 such individuals. I found it quite enjoyable to watch. Others may also enjoy it so here is a link to it.
